Our Story

Jessica was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as an adult and knows firsthand the challenges—and frustrations—of managing life with a CGM. Her experience navigating the ups and downs of T1D inspired her to reimagine how diabetes devices could look and feel, transforming them from purely medical tools into something empowering and expressive.

Nora, a program manager with over a decade of experience in healthcare technology, brings her passion for wellness and design to the brand. After witnessing how clinical and impersonal medical devices can feel, she was determined to help create a product that sparks joy and restores confidence for people living with diabetes.

Together, they launched CGM Gem—a small, women-owned business dedicated to turning everyday diabetes care into a moment of self-expression. Each gem is handcrafted with care, designed to make wearing a CGM feel a little less clinical and a lot more beautiful.
